[Unity 5.3] clamped low FPS

    After upgrading to Unity 5.3 we are experiencing a FPS that appear to be clamped at 55fps. Previously our project was running at minimum 75fps on Unity 5.1.3f1.

    We have tried with both V-Sync on and off.

    Our project is running on WIndows 10 x64, GeForce GTX 980 with latest drivers.

    Is there anybody that can help solving this issue?

    I'm having the same issue. A clean scene with nothing but a skybox is running at 50-90 fps. Turn VR off, and it runs at 2000 fps.

    We are about to go to Unity 5.3 as well. I was told by Oculus ( on there forum ) to look at the first post for Recomended Unity Versions. Here is what I found:

    Unity 5

    If possible, it's recommended to use Unity 5.2.3p2 or 5.3.0f4 with the latest version of the Oculus Utilities.
