I've been trying to install the new version of Unity in my Desktop PC but I just can't make it work, it's been 2 days already. At first I thought that the problem was caused by Visual Studio since it's installation kept failing but then I tried not installing VS and Unity kept crashing. I already tried pressing and holding ALT and opening Unity but it does not work. I tried deleting Unity and Unity Technologies with Regedit and still not working.
I'am attaching a screenshot of the crash and the crash dump.

I really hope somebody can help me

Can you either re-install this version or move back to the previous version?

If you re-install, be sure to skip the VS part, since it sounds that may be a key part of the problem.

I already tried to reinstall, both installing or omiting Visual Studio. I also tried to install all 5+ Unity versions. Right now what I'm trying is installing unity 4 and try to upgrade to 5

I just did, it did not work. I installed Unity 4 and it worked, but I cannot update to 5 successfully.

Have you been able to run any version of Unity 5 prior to this? Or is this your first time downloading and using Unity?

I've been using Unity since v2.6 if I'm not mistaken or maybe v3. Also I believe I was using v5.1 in this same PC before trying to upgrade to v5.3.3. I also had problems with that version, I had to install the 32-bit version because the 64-bit version didn't work for me.

    How strange!

What hardware are you running? Normal stuff, I imagine, but worth asking. :)

It appears (based on your report) you do not have Windows 7 SP1 installed. That appears to be a requirement based on Unity system-requirements.

That worked. I cannot believe I wasted your time like this. Thank you very much, I could have swore I already had SP1 installed.
