Moving to unity 5.3 is going to be more work than it should be because of some structural changes that were made to the output build folder format.

Can anyone at unity comment about how important this migration is? Specifically, will it improve performance / memory / stability of webgl? Our game is in a pretty good state and we dont want to spend a lot of time here if the payoff is nominal.

    Thanks!

I think the most important change are:
    - In Release, we always download the gzipped files, regardless of whether you configured your server.
    - The build data is now kept in memory compressed, so it will save you some memory.

if you are experiencing any specific issue, you can check the 5.3 release notes to see if it's fixed. Though, download 5.3.1 or the latest patch if you decide to upgrade.

So, if you don't need any specific change/fix, you can probably stay on 5.2

On AngryBots we saved ~40% of memory used for data but your mileage may vary depending on your project...
