Unity 5.2 on Mac, BAD UI problems!

On a Mac. Updated to 5.2.1 (f1 and p1, same problem).

My UI is HOSED. First, Image components which should have 'none' sprites have the default sprite (rounded rect thing). Setting it to another image does that, but setting back to 'none' does NOT fix it, it goes back to ugly! Second, Text on UI items does not change color. Create a Button. Select its text, change color. NOT.

Did I miss something in release notes which says to rebuild and redesign UI from scratch?

    Hi,
Same problem with "none" sprites here (other sprites are loaded at random instead), I had to go back to 5.2.0p1.

Ok so the sprite thing IS a known bug in Unity, not our content. Alpha=0 won't work for me, I need it to be a solid color (or semi-transparent color). Looking forward to a fix in the next patch (holding breath).

What about text color? Fun fact: Text color alpha DOES work, but the color is always fairly black. Attached screen shot should tell ya
