    Hello,

I have Oculus DK2 with Unity 5.1.1f1 Personal Edition. I followed the instructions here and I can get the orientation tracking of the headset on an empty project.

However when I drop the OVR Player Controller into an existing project, I run into 2 issues.
    1. When I enter Play Mode on Unity, the image is just a normal play screen (there aren't two separate views displayed). Also, there is no image on the Oculus headset -- it remains black.
    2. When I build the project, the whole direct_to_rift build works with orientational tracking and everything. The issue is that the views are too far apart and it feels like I am seeing double of everything. It is very bad and induces a bad headache. I have used the OculusConfigUtility to change the IDP, but this doesnt help the build.

Any ideas for resolving these two issues? Your input is greatly appreciated.

    Best,
    Matt

Here some really simple things that MAY BE blocking you and happens quite often:

    1. Are you running the oculus in extended mode or direct? (Run it in extended mode)
    2. Somehow I believe it's a scale problem. Like, the scale of the OVR Player is too high compares to the rest of the world. Can you just give a feedback on this?

    1. I am running it in Direct mode. When I try running in Extended Mode, my Oculus Rift isn't detected. I get the error "HMD Powered Off. Check HDMI Connection." It is described in this forum.

    2. The OVR Player I used is scaled in all directions at 1. I have reduced the radius of the character collider to 0.5, but the error still exists. As an added check, I deleted the OVR player and plugged it back in from the Unity Integration file, and I get the same error.

I have a sort of different problem and was wondering if it could be solved here, I have an OVRPlayerController setup, with every script and the camera rig and everything + the floor level is the main tracked, but every time I test the camera, I just see a blank screen on the headset, when I move my head in real life, the camera in Unity doesn't move.
