Unity 4.x projects are not listed under Projects On Disk

Unity 4.x projects are not listed under Projects On Disk when opened through the Unity Hub.

Steps:

1. The user installs Unity 4.3.1.f1 (for example).
2. From the Installs tab of the Unity Hub (v.0.15.0),
3. The user selects Locate a Version to add Unity 4.3.1f1 to the list of installs.
4. Selects Open and locates a Unity 4.3.1f1 project to open.
5. From the Advanced Open options prompt,
6. The user sets the Unity Version to 4.3.1f1 and selects Open.
7. Reopenes the Unity Hub to view the list of Projects On Disk.

Result:
The Unity 4.x project is not listed under Projects On Disk.

Note:
Suspect the cause of this issue may be due to Unity 4.x projects not supporting Unity Project ID. It would be nice to see them added to the list of projects on disk when opened through the Unity Hub.

 

Confirming issue is still open in Unity Hub v.0.16.0.

As it is, you either have to remember off hand or look up which version of Unity was last used with 4.x projects. Using a post-it for the time being to map projects to Unity version numbers.

 

If you point Hub toward the project and then point it toward the Unity 4 install, it opens it correctly in Unity 4 -- so it seems like Hub should be able to handle it fine, but as you say it doesn't get added to the list.
