Unity 4.6 UI

    Just installed unity 4.6 beta to test the new UI system. However in Gameobject tab there is no choice for UI. Am i missing something? Unity version is 4.6 b17

    Can you post a screenshot? It should be there...
    Try selecting Create in the hierarchy and doing it from there, to see if that works.


    Ignore the arrow, I borrowed this picture.

    If you don't see the 3D Object and 2D Object tabs grouped like that, then you either didn't install it correctly or opened the previous version.

    having this same problem too. 4.6 b17 and no UI menu under GameObject
