Unity 4.6 Slows Down FPS For No Reason

    I updated unity 4.6 beta on my mac and when i opened my project, the whole engine was lagging. I played a scene and the FPS was 0.9. i setup a new scene completely empty and the highest FPS i can get is 16. i don't know why this is happening but I hope it gets fixed.

    I have similar feeling after upgrade to rc3, but not sure the reason

    Is static batching working Ok for you?

    A bit slower? That's quite a slow down, like 10-25%!
    I've seen worse performance in my own project as well but I have not measured it thoroughly.

    Would like an official reply to this. If the measurements are correct, we are looking at a significant slowdown.

    Look at my date joined. I think I understand how Unity handles dev relations at this point.

    Is that bug back? It was present in the 4.5 series but then was gone in the 4.6 series. I said this in the forums way back but the only response was a fanboy that said his profiler didn't show any slowdown.

    In that case you also should know that if you write about a bug in the forum and you reported it, that you should post the number of the bug.

    Also the OP should know that if you have this problem usually restating Unity & Visual Studio will solve it. I have yet to test if 4.6.0f3 Release is the same problem as the 4.5 series. I know the earlier version of the 4.6 series didn't.

    I just tested with 4.6 Release and the test case I use is 15% - 25% than Unity 4.3.7p2 which was the basic for me saying earlier that the 4.5 series was much slower with the same test case.

    This is with a Windows Standalone build settings. It seems Android build settings slow it down considerably.

    I just downloaded 4.6 and still the same problem, the highest frame rate i can get in my project is 0.4 FPS

    Has anyone found a solution to this problem?
