Unity 4.6.5p5 cannot render infinity scroll item

    In the latest patch fix for Unity 4.6.5, I am having issues with rendering the scroll item in the game window, once it is repositioned. This used to work in earlier version of Unity. See images below.

    The Item is there in the scene window, but it just doesn't render on the game window. Anyone got any possible solutions to force it to render?

    Found the answer. I am pretty sure its a unity bug. If I use SetLocalPosition instead of SetGlobalPosition, it works.
