Hi all, this is my first post. Sorry for bad english :-(

I've read about the new 2D support. That's the news i’m awaiting for switch from Flash to Unity. But… since, for now, i’m only interested in developing 2d games, according to you, there will be a specific guide for those are entering for the first time the Unity world to develop in 2D?

    Ty in advance :)

Unity comes with solid documentation (http://unity3d.com/learn/documentation). They always update it when new features are added. Further it is very likely that a lot of people will make tutorials on YouTube. I doubt that there will be a lack of information.
Nevertheless, you still need to understand the basics of Unity. Regarding that you also find many helpful resources, like the newly introduced official Unity tutorials (http://unity3d.com/learn/tutorials/modules).

    Hi Sarah,

I don't know if you found one, but I'm in exactly the same situation in wanting to find 2D specific tutorials. I found this one helpful getting me started http://pixelnest.io/tutorials/2d-game-unity.

It appears that the documentation has not been updated to 4.3 according to the last revision dates on the manual's webpage. Any idea when it will be updated?
