Our perforce server is remoted hosted online by assembla.com and they require the workspace to support streams, however when we try to connect to the perforce server from within Unity 4.2 we get the following error:

"Version Control: Client '[valid and working workspace name]' requires an application that can fully support streams."

I've removed the workspace name for security, reasons, but the question is, Does the Unity3D Perforce Integration support Workspaces that utilize streams?

Is there a workaround if they don't?

Sorry Should have posted earlier, we also opened a help desk ticket and they responded saying the 4.3 will have support for Perforce Streams but 4.2 doesn't. So we're waiting for 4.3 to be released. In the meantime we've been using the p4v client and while it works, we're hoping that the integrated Perforce support will remove some of the clunkiness from the workflow. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Hey, excuse the blatant self promotion :), but if you're still looking into a perforce integration that support streams and Assembla servers, check out P4Connect. It also doesn't require any license (pro or team).

Thanks, but for us the upgrade to 4.3 seems to be working well enough to get us by for the time being. P4Connect does look nice though. :)
