Just got the pre-order a few days ago, good to see version 3 coming out anytime soon, this way I can start learning/messing about with version 3 directly.

Unity 3.0 RC2 at downloading on a direct link it is registered as 2.6.1 as a trial without key input. It is a bug or a feature?
After registration the letter comes "Unity: Welcome to Unity 2.6.1".

 

I'll get my budget for the Pro license soon, hope i will still make it for the preorder deal D:

I was wondering, i pre-ordered the iPhone Basic version. Is it possible to actually release games already with the Release Candidate?

Then i can just start using 3 and not 1.7 to work on my game, but it has to be done soon.

 

Will there be a RC3 or 0f3 release?

 

I got all the beta links by email but still not get for RC.

 

No need to wait for an email which is always days behind the actual live download link,
open Unity 3 beta and if the automated function doesn't alert you right away,
go under Help and run the Update check manually.

I would guess when U3 is out of beta and preorder which is also the moment it will likely appear for download regularily on the website.

 

i think unity 3 will be released on 10th of November.

I doubt it will take that long; the RCs are actually coming out much faster than the beta builds.

 

For comparison, 2.6.1 was finalized at RC3.

Ah crap, I can't keep up! I just downloaded RC4 last night and haven't even installed it. Still running RC2 in fact.
