Bug Unity 2023.2 Crash when ever I try to bake light map

    I Get d3d11 error every time i bake light map with static object


    this error don't happen in 2023.3 and 2023.1
    my GPU : Radeon RX 570 Series

    This happens while you're on the machine, or did you leave it alone? I ask because if the computer enters standby mode with Unity editor open it is prone to crash with exactly this error message (known driver issue).

    If not I'd try check for a graphics driver update, and in case AMD also has split drivers like Nvidia (Game Ready vs Studio) be sure to pick the one that's advertised for creative/productive work, not games.

    it happen after 13-17 sec from me pressing the generate lighting button

    I had no idea of the drivers i will check this one out. ty for info

    ok i manage fix it by changing the graphic api to vulkan

    Does anyone know a way to fix this without changing the API to Vulkan?
    Video card:GTX 1070

    I have the exact same problem on 2023.2.3. My GPU is AMD Rx 470 4GB.
    The editor just hangs for a while, and then crashes because the GPU driver is not responding, regardless of whether it is a GPU or CPU lightmapper, on both dx11 and dx12. This is strange. I tried increasing TdrDelay\TdrDdiDelay to 60 seconds as recommended, but no luck. Switching to the Amd Radeon Pro driver did not help.
