Bug Unity 2022 - Rift S controller tracking not working

    Hey people,

    I've been developing with Unity 2020.3 and Rift S for quite some time. I've tried to upgrade to Unity 2022 but now the controllers aren't tracked anymore.

    I've tried exaclty these steps on 2022.1.11b1, 2022.1.5 and 2022.2.4:

    1. Create new project from Unity's official VR template
    2. Build Settings -> Windows -> Oculus
    3. Play
    The headset is tracked fine but the controllers arent. But there is no error, warning or log message. The controllers are working fine since I can press the menu button to open the headset's VR menu. In the menu the hands are displayed and tracked as they should so they are working fine.

    Is there some new setting I'm missing or anything else I'm doing wrong?

    Did you update the oculus xr plugin and xr plugin management using the package manager?

    I vaguely recall Rift S not being supported anymore, I might be wrong but if the headset is discontiniued and also lost it's support from Oculus/Meta themselves then I imagine Unity and others to follow in their footsteps. My 2 cents.

    When using the quest the PC uses the same software as rift, so don't see why they would break that. The controller profile is also still the same
