Bug Unity 2021.2.x Asset preview is empty

    Unity 2021.2 Using 2DRenderer

    Asset preview in the inspector looks to be empty when inspector preview looks like it is working fine.

    It used to work/not work for Unity 2021.1 (come and goes) but now all of similar assets's preview is blank which leads the preview of the polybrush to be the same. And it makes impossible to work with polybrush because you have no idea what you are selecting.

    Seeing the same problem in 2021.2.1f1, using 3d renderer/URP. Previews in project windows and the top of the inspector are broken, but the bottom of the inspector works. Recently upgraded from 2020.3 where they were working fine. Right clicking and refresh and reimport do not help.



    Unsure if related, but every so often I'll see errors like the following in the console (could be totally unrelated, haven't tracked down all the... issues... I've had so far with 2021.2):

    Ok so I am not the only one. It is good to know. Hopefully, Unity responds soon.

    I have already reported this case.

    Hopefully Unity responds soon. This is progress blocker critical issue.

    Unity need to fix this ASAP! please!
    We are unable to use polybrush because of this!
