Yes, I can see neither. Also there is no release not visible on website?

Yeah, it's a bummer the "Install with Hub" link on that page doesn't let me choose between intel and silicon and always gives me the intel version.

I think there is something wrong with on unity side. You can see the latest release page doesn't contain 2021.2.10 's notes, and hub only has intel version which make us very upset.

Also waiting for the official release notes for v2021.2.10f1 and silicon version - maybe something went wrong and they pulled release back?

Ahh you are correct. I was just about to complain on the performance with Apple Silicon but missed that I installed the Intel version as the Silicon version is not available. Thank you!

The release notes are out if you manually type the URL, the new version is available via Hub and prompted via the editor so it just seems as though someones forgotten to publish v2021.2.10 on the archive releases page (or yup perhaps the release has been partially walked back due to apple silicon issues):

The silicon version now appeared on my Hub! It wasn't there a couple of days ago, so I think they fixed something

Was trying to do some addressable profiling on a test project and ran into this too on 2021.2.10. I have submitted a bug (1401975) to hopefully let them know. I also agree with your assessment of the addressable package. It's really disappointing because I had high hopes for it as it has the potential to be great. However, their focus on making the system have this content distribution overhead just makes it slower and more difficult to work with. We just really need a new dynamic asset system in Unity that is easier to work with (AssetReferences) and just as fast as Resources.

I'm honestly in the middle of ditching addressables for 99.99% (by byte volume) of our updatable content, and going back to manually handling content downloads. It's an amazing swiss army knife for updating arbitrary content in your game, but if you know your use case it's more work to use (and watch in raw terror as you wonder if everything will spontaneously explode any time you touch anything) than to build your own system for updating some fixed asset schema.

If you don't know your use case, good luck figuring out what the docs are trying to tell you and mapping them to it.

    2021.1 vs 2021.2 Side-by-side comparison of performance.
2021.2...is seriously messing with my fps.
These are analyses run on the same scene with a fresh migration from 2021.1.25 => 2021.2.11

    Hi,

When can we expect a 2021 LTS version? Just wondering if we're nearing the release or if we're still quite far from it.

I saw that last year the first 2020 LTS was released March 11.

    Thanks.

My game did not start on 2021.2.16f1 unity crashed. When I restored to 2021.2.15f1 it worked. Tried multiple times.

    Is Unity dead?
there is no way to follow the GDC event?
there is no information on the release of the 2021.2 LTS
I notice a lack of will in the communication of development

Lol, they presented a whole, impressive demo on YT just two days ago.
As for GDC, they have a stream schedule here: https://m.twitch.tv/unitytech/schedule

I appreciate that my provocation made you laugh. Yes I've seen the demo and also seen this program
    https://www.gdc2022.unity.com
and neither on the 21st nor on the 22nd I was able to see anything.
    I had misinterpreted the program
That's why I wanted to get attention with a Clickbait question :)
