Unity 2018.3 build size increase

    Hi,

    Does someone notice a big increase of build size using unity 2018.3 ?
    My apk was 77mo and now become 98mo :eek:

    Regarding editor log, everything looks fine expect 3d models, a simple character with 7k tris, animations and blenshapes is 22mo, I'm not sure but on previous version the same model was 7mo.

    Can you please submit a bug report and post the case number here?
    Please attach your project or at least the APKs to the report.

    Thanks but I can't send an apk or a project, the game we work on is not yet released

    Ok just by replace my mesh files and metadata from older project and to change blenshape normal setting from calculate to import, I was able to reduce the build from 98 to 93 mo.
    Is there some import setting who can cause an increase of mesh size ?

    The project and/or the APK you send us is treated as confidential and is not shared with anyone.

    Without that, I'm afraid we can't help diagnose the size increase.

    You could try analyzing the APKs yourself, to see where the increase comes from. Try APK Analyzer in Android Studio, for example.
