Unity 2018.2.3f1 Crashed and now won't open project.

    Hi,

    Unity 2018.2.3f1 (installed today) worked ok for a few hours but then crashed. Now it won't open it gets stuck on 'importing scripts'

    I tried deleting all the temp and library files but haven't had any luck.

    Anyone else having issues?

    Maybe not the issue. Still having trouble opening unity.. The logs aren't being very helpful.

    I deleted the package manager and all the packages, temp, and library again and it opened but now the project won't compile... It's complaining UnityEngine.Advertisements doesn't exist... but the package is installed and ads is enabled in services. I tried with platform selected on both iOS and Android.

    Spoke too soon. Now unity is compiling over and over again. If succeeds in compiling and immediately starts compiling again...

    Argh, I'm pulling my hair out over this.

    Here's the editor log for the constant recompiling. I'm guessing there's a cyclic assembly reference somewhere but I don't know how to track it down or how to fix it. Any ideas would be great...

    Rolling back unity to 2018.2.2f1 didn't fix it.

    Rolling back unity and then the repo a couple of days did fix it, i then went through each repo update checkin by checkin and it all worked.. :/

    who knows. I'm just going to not touch anything, I'm on latest checkin with unity 2018.2.2f1. That's good enough for me.

    Although I started getting this error message:

    PackageUpdater::CheckForUpdatePeriodically(): Invalid Date Time String "{0}": 08/13/2018 10:16:40
