Unity 2018.1 build error on DEBUG CONNECT with VS 17 15.7.4

    I've seen some different versions and suggestions, I've tried them.

    Does anyone have a solution? It said Microsoft was working on it, but is this fixed?

    My project builds and runs under Unity. I though VS was only source level debugger and didn't try to build. Why do I get build errors? I get no other info. I can debug without fixing this.

    TYPO, I meant: . I THOUGHT Visual Studio was only DOING source level debugging. It SHOULDN'T try to build.

    SHOULD IT? Someone said it had to build for some other reason?

    This is really stopping progress.
