    Hello there,

last week is switched from unity 2017 to unity 2018. Now the new Prefab Mode is very bad. everytime when you want to see prefab you need to double click it to open.

in the old version you just click once in it and saw the prefab. is it possible to do this same in 2018?

i have a folder with 500+ prefabs without images. and when i need to find specific prefab i need to double click each of tip through all 500 prefabs..

better when i can use keyboard arrows to switch through it like it worked in 2017

Unity announced that they see that this is a problem and they will be changing it in some future version(i do not have the date to hand, sorry).
There are shortcuts for opening and closing the prefab view

One enhancement to this was made in 2019.1, if you can get into that version. This restores the ability to view the prefab in the inspector when selecting it in the Project view. You can even modify settings without needing to "Open Prefab" (unless you want to modify child object values).
