    Thank you, yes it did.
    Especially to follow / fix / tweak the quick 2017.x cycle layout compared to the original 5.x project.

    Hi, I don't if this is the good spot.

    When I try to run the brick wall and bullet game at the begining of the book I get those problems:

    Assets/Shooter.cs(25,110): error CS0200: Property or indexer `UnityEngine.Vector3.forward' cannot be assigned to (it is read-only)
    Assets/Shooter.cs(26,12): error CS0200: Property or indexer `UnityEngine.Vector3.forward' cannot be assigned to (it is read-only)
    Assets/Shooter.cs(27,23): error CS0103: The name `fwd' does not exist in the current context


    Please help, I am a complete noob :( :(

    BTW: Great book! Explicite everything from scratch! Love it!!

    The book has some very good parts and the author is competent in Unity but the sad reality is that it has too many flaws (like do step 5 and dozen pages later the author introduce step 2 - perhaps the text rearranged between the editions so the overview was lost). The code files are often outdated (Unity 2017.3 batters you with error messages and warnings when you try to open the official files) so you can not complete the project. Please read all the one and two star reviews at Amazon. I had can confirm that all these problems are real and i also wrote a note to the publisher. The book should have never been published. When you want learn Unity read the Docs and look at the Tutorials.

    Ah! I took a book because I am abroad on a camping with too limited data for youtube tutorials (I actually bought a udemy course for this --- I know you can view udemy courses offline on mobile device but I just took the laptop)

    I am still going to flip through the book to learn the basic concepts.
