Bug Unity 2017.4.40f1 freezes after stopping playtesting in editor

    Happens in any project, even new ones with no assets apart from one scene.

    I'm using Linux Mint 20.2 (x86_64) as my OS, and 2017.4.40f1 from an archive.

    your editor version seems to be a bit too old. You could update to the LTS and see if it will become better.
