Unit Tests

    Greetings reader,

    About a year ago there's been a post asking about automated unit tests in the Cloud.
    Responses where very positive but there's been no report of it since. How's the prospect of this feature?

    We're working on support for Unity Test Tools in Cloud Build, and are aiming to launch it before the end of the year.

    Hello, @patrickc! Did any of that support for unity test tools make it into cloud build as you guys had hoped? This and integration with Github pull request builds are the only things keeping us on Jenkins. We could probably live without the pull request integration, but not without running tests on commits. Have you guys had any luck on moving this forward yet?

    Support has been added for Unit Tests using the Unity Test Tools, and you will now see a 'Tests' tab within the details for each build. Integration tests are not yet supported.

    As for the PR build feature request, that's a prime candidate for addition to our Feedback site - Slack and GitHub integrations come up often and the feedback site allows us to measure demand for these features.

    What should the Unity Cloud Build configuration option "Unit Test Method" be set to when using the integrated Editor Test Runner in Unity 5.6?

    Good question. Doesn't seem to work for me with the default value.
