Unchecking Virtual Reality Supported Re-imports immediatly then rechecks box...Why?

    Under Player > XR Settings I cannot uncheck Virtual Reality Supported. I have OpenVR under it but I need to turn this off. As Soon as I uncheck it, Unity attempts to remove it but then as soon as it finishes removing it, it immediately starts a re import process. I cannot uncheck this at all and it is causing huge issues. I have a project thats dual PC/VR and trying to manage XR and VR settings In unity is super frustrating. I wish Unity would group all the VR/XR settings under one area to manage in Project settings. at times I want to test just the PC part of my project on a monitor and it seems the only solution is to remove all VR/XR under Package Manager. Is this HONESTLY an OpenVR issue/SteamVR issue or something with unity doing the Re-import as soon as you uncheck.

    Solved. Needed to Disable SteamVR-Settings file and uncheck auto enable VR

    Can you file a bug with Valve in regards to that? They really shouldn't be auto enabling that.
