UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path

When i build xcode project using Unity2018.4.23f1, it has the error:
UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path '/Applications/Unity2018.4.23f1/PlaybackEngines/iOSSupport/Trampoline/build/SharedPrecompiledHeaders' is denied.
What does this mean.
The mac system is 10.15.4

 

@Huatimes I found your post and this post. Following the workaround listed here worked for me. Not sure if it's a weird config issue or a Unity 2018.4.23 regression:

This is only for 2019, but I am having this issue in 2018.4.23, what then?

 

@Huatimes can you confirm if you had to change your project to 2019? I dont see the SPH folder in 2018, as it says on that issuetracker site

 

I am here as I'm having this issue all of a sudden on MacOS 10.15.6 using Unity 2018.4.23

"UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path '/Applications/Unity/Hub/Editor/2018.4.23f1/PlaybackEngines/iOSSupport/Trampoline/build/SharedPrecompiledHeaders' is denied."

I have 2019 installed, but I have never opened this project in 2019. That guide says:
/Unity /Applications/Unity/PlaybackEngines/iOSSupport/Trampoline/SharedPrecompiledHeaders

I go to :
Applications/Unity/Hub/2018.4.23f1/PlaybackEngines/iOSSupport/Trampoline/ there is no SharedPrecompiledHeaders, but there is inside the Build folder

that folder has a little blue arrow on the icon and is zero bytes in size. I can't change the sharing permissions for everyone, even though I am logged in as the admin. Blue down arrow in bottom right suggests its an alias in MacOS, but thats not the case when you look in getinfo, it says its a folder.
