Question Unable to reference NavMeshSurface.

    Upon updating from Unity 2020 to 2022, my script responsible for baking the navmesh in runtime (which is a necessary action as it allows me to create procedural arenas and levels) doesn't work. The component reference is still there for NavMeshSurface, but when I drag the component in, it won't actually fill it in.



    There don't appear to be any NavMeshSurface components in the game according to the menus, despite the component existing and being in the scene.

    Can someone either tell me what is wrong, or tell me how to use the new architecture to do the same thing? I just need to be able to Build my navmesh in runtime.
