Question Unable to install UnityHub 3.0.0-beta5 on Ubuntu20.04

Hello,

I'm trying to install the latest available Linux Unity installer on Ubuntu20.04. After starting the .AppImage executable, pressing the Sign in button redirects to the browser for a login page. Signing in there seems to be successful and redirects to another URL

And it just hangs there with an empty page for a long while, until it displays

I'm just trying to install the personal version for my son who wants to try to use it for a grade 8 school project. Is it an issue with that Unity account just being a regular account and not being acceptable for the beta version? The Beta seems to be the only version available for Linux.

 

At least your sign in working. I tried several times to install the UH3.0 on Ubuntu and it just opens the browser with the OAuth link but I don't get to input anything. It just sits there... with a blank page. It would be great if we could get some support. I want to cut ties with Windows once and for all and I need to have this working for that.
