Hello, I have a problem with installing Unity Editor. I can install Unity Hub with ease, however, when I pick (any) version of the Unity Editor, the install bar progresses normally, but in the end nothing happens. The install bar simply fills, closes, adds 2/3gb to my storage and that's about it; no editor in sight.

In your Unity Hub, click the cog icon at the top to go to preferences and look under Unity Editors Path. This field shows where the Editor is downloaded to, and you may need to change it from the default setting for Unity to "recognize" the Editor has been downloaded. Once you have changed it, you will need to download the Editor again, and you will know you have done it correctly when the Unity logo appears after the Editor installs (and doesn't disappear).

I had the same problem as you, and I'm using macOS Catalina 10.15.2. What worked for me was creating a new directory under Applications with the terminal and setting the path there ( /Applications/ [directory name] ). If you use some other OS, I might not be able to help you. I also don't know what to do about the storage you (and I) used up already.
