    Hi,

I am trying to achieve realistic ambient occlusion for the chair legs but still got almost nothing and the chair looks like a bit in the air. Chair and carpets are both static.

You say it's static, but that looks like realtime light to me?

Also, I'm not seeing any GI, have you baked the scene?

Also, Ambient Occlusion is not realistic, it's a fake effect.

They are static, but the light source / sun is mixed because there are some other objects which are moving. I've tried making it be baked and it actually looked a little bit nicer.

    Yes, I've baked the scene.

I just want to get the chair to be not looking in the air. It seems Ambient Occlusion is good enough to achieve that, isn't it ?
