Bug Unable to download latest LTS from hub, cant sign in from hub

    As title hints, I'm having 2 main issues with the hub:

    I cant seem to sign in, Whenever I press the 'sign in' button, i'm being sent (for the first time) to a webpage where I need to log in, afterwards I'm being directed to a blank page, unity hub pops up, and I'm still not connected.
    When I press the 'sign in' button for the second time, I'm being sent to a blank webpage and back to the hub, only to see I'm in the same spot.
    I've tried changing my default browser, opening the hub as admin, turning off my firewall. and no success.

    the second issue comes from the first,
    I'm trying to download the editor yet the download fails due to 'validation failure', I've tried various approaches only to learn that the hub tries to download 2021.3.6f1 while the latest LTS is 2021.3.8f1.
    when trying to download .3.8f1 via the hub, the hub claims to not know this archived version and being unable to download.

    I'm just trying to start my learning process and I encounter so many fundamental problems, this is demotivating.

    Any help would be happily accepted, thanks!

    others seem to have similar login issues, so in the meanwhile,
    can download that version installer here https://download.unity3d.com/download_unity/b30333d56e81/UnityDownloadAssistant-2021.3.8f1.exe

    and follow the threads here if login solution/fix pops up (one issue is if you are behind Proxy, then need to do some setup)
