Umbra Composit for optimizing massive scenes and models

    Hello all!

    We've been building a cloud-based platform, Umbra Composit, for optimizing and hosting massive 3D datasets. The idea of the platform is that you don't have to worry about the complexity of the 3D assets per platform, but instead you can work on the most detailed data and simply deploy it to our cloud and then use the same data for any platform from desktop to mobile to XR.

    Here's a tutorial fresh out the oven on how to use the Umbra Composit Unity plug-in for optimizing complex scenes for use in e.g. ARKit apps.



    It's also possible to deploy these Unity scenes directly into our apps on various platforms - iOS, Hololens and the browser currently supported.
