The script is enabled, but the gameobject not, in the upper side you need to check that checkbox, but don't worry i will add it to the script for more versatility.

Wow Kirby, that looks great! You're making it so easy to use. What's next, a voice interface? :p

"Holodeck: give me a blond female, mid 20s, 5 feet six inches tall, athletic, 36-24-36, wearing a pink bikini."

Thanks, and keep up the great work.

Hi Kirby. Is it possible or will it be possible to save the generated character as a prefab instead of an .asset?

I actually do this now, and it's quite simple. Use Kirby's Demo scene to create your avatar, and when you're happy with how it looks, save the prefab using Power Tools. The other thing I like to do is go into the UMAGenerator scene object, and replace the default script it uses to "UMAGeneratorThreaded", from the Power Tools package. This gets rid of all the extra bones UMA normally creates, to give you a cleaner prefab.

What I meant was save the generated character in game after the player tweaks the custonization sliders to their liking so the prefab can be loaded as their player character.

Yes, you can do it with the UMA Power Tools, but maybe i can add a button for save it.

    UPDATE:
Update is near to finish, i still need to finish a lot of things, i needed to rewrote the code for some things, but now will be more easy.
    Here is another preview

PD: I know the names are wrongs : D
PD2: Sorry for the delay of the update, but don't think i'm lazy, i was working 3 days in a row on only this plugin, all the day, and sleeping at 3 am.

I like what I see of it so far. Any further comments will need to wait 'till I get my hands on it though. That's always the real test. Let us know when a download is available, and I'll give you a review ASAP.

Sorry for the late reply, maybe in no more than 2 days i will submit it to the asset store, i'm afraid because the other update didn't arrive yet i think so that's a little weird.

So far i still need to do:
    -Depth System for Clothes/Body
    -Colors like you suggested.
    -Automatic overlay and slot manager.

    Thanks!

EDIT: And for the another update i maybe will do i will implement a surprise :)

When I open the Demo scene, save the UMA GameObject as a prefab then try to use it in my own seen, the Generated Character always spawns at 0,0,0 in the world, not at the UMASpawnPoint. The Spawn Point is set to UMASpawnPoint in the UMAModels object. I can't figure out why it's not spawning at the right place.

Fixed it. At the bottom of UMAModels.cs I changed
    tempUMA.position = new Vector3(0, 0, 0);
    to
    tempUMA.position = SpawnPoint.localPosition;

I submitted a little fix for the new version of UMA, if someone wants to use an old version of UMA with my script send me the "Invoice No" to my email and ask for the old version.

Thanks in advanced and sorry for the inconvenients.

    Great package,

Would like to purchase but on the asset store it's requiring 4.3.2

I'm still using 4.3.1 for stability. Can you downgrade the requirement.

    cheers.

Of course sir :) i will do it in some minutes, but it will take atleast one day or two to be on asset store : S, actually if you buy it you can use the package in your version, but yeah it's a bad thing because you need to install the latest, anyways i will do it :)

I'm still having problems getting long hair on the female model. Here's what I've done so far:

    1. Deleted my UMA directory to start fresh
    2. Downloaded latest UMA from asset store (1.0.10.0)
    3. Downloaded latest UMA Helper Pack (2.0b)
    4. Tested with default male and female avatars - all OK
    5. Added FemaleLongHair01_Module as a custom slot under Female
    6. Pressed Play
    7. I not only don't get long hair, but the model either appears all white, or Unity locks up completely. I also get errors.

    $UMA Helper Test.PNG

Once this happens, the only way to get it working again is to either reload the scene, in less severe cases, or re-import UMA Helper again.

I've tried various combinations of adding FemaleLongHair01_Module, FemaleLongHair01, or both, and either checking the Overlay box as well, or leaving it blank. Nothing I've tried works. I can change the default female hair, under "Body", to FemaleLongHair01, and that works OK, but as soon as I try to add the additional Custom Slot/Overlay required to extend the hair, there's a big problem.

I still don't see any way to change the hair color for the Custom long hair slot/overlay either, even if the rest worked.

    Any suggestions?

For me it works, are you sure you put the overlay and check the box too?
