I started working on this asset package that serves as my personal go-to solution for a variety of effects. Before starting out with Unity, I was used to programming from scratch using just OpenGL and C++, including my own rendering framework and particle systems. One of the first things I played with in Unity was the built-in Shuriken particle system, and ever since then I've been totally addicted. I'm very much inspired by effects in games like Final Fantasy (VII, VIII, X, X-2) and Kingdom Hearts (1 & 2). So you may recognize a few of the prefabs names in the package. If you have any suggestions and/or examples of effects you'd like to see added in here, let me know! This package has been continously updated for years since its initial release, and is still improving and growing.
