    Hi, yes we need to use playmaker. It's very useful to control game states and manage the main code.

    I agree with you, that is subway surfer alike game, just only the run is throughout Safari :) Looks interesting running game. Do you plan to release the game on mobile as well? Or just on mobile? If you are interested in web release, for extra monetizing the game, do let me know.

    This looks great! Can you replace the player with a custom object like a vehicle FBX that has different animations?

    Thank you ! Yes It works all versions above 5.0 i also tested in 5.5, fully working. Iam planning to integrate self gui system in the future. I am currently working on imtegration and modification documentations.

    Thank you, yes this is very easy. All you need to do import the vehicle object to the project and target it in the player prefab. And rename the animations that you want to use.

    I didn't know that, i will release a version without both playmaker and ngui as soon as possible.
    I am very new at asset store platform. And i am about to make very great changes on the project

    Will it work with the free NGUI 2.7.0 available here or do we need the full NGUI version ?

    Yes, it supports all versions of ngui 2.0 above, even beta version.

    Actually i uploaded a new version that using both ngui and play maker free beta versions. So you dont need to add these depencies for running the project anymore. If ypu want you can update the recent versions it will stil work both beta end latest versions. I tested it. So stay tuned a update on the way.

    That's too bad, but glad to hear Unity will let you republish! I'll definitely keep a look out for it when it becomes available again.

    One thing I noticed in your new documentation is that it seems like you need to have a rigged humanoid in order to replace the player. I was interested in using a vehicle and just replacing the animation clips with my own in Mecanim. Is that now not possible?

    Hi healym,

    Yes of course, you can replace the player character with a vehicle model. As you said, you also need change the gesture animations in the "PlayerAnimationController". It is very easy to done. You don't have to replace the animation controller. Just replace the gesture animations with your ones. And leave empty other ones that your vehicle model does not include like karate moves or dance figures.

    Yes this project still uses NGUI and PlayMeker, but we working on a different version without these assets. It will be ready end of this month. When it's done we created a new project and you will be able to download it.

    1- do you any plan for IAP ? like for character or any option?

    Hi mostafanastary,

    The game has a character shop already. You can easily integrate some iap network that you wish.
    Also you can add "save me" button when player fails and that also would be a nice iap idea.

    For your second question yes deferentially you can use Maximo. We also use Maximo for animations.

    I'm looking for the right solution for my game I planned. Can you tell me why I should use your asset instead of "Infinite Runner Starter Pack Pro"?

    You guys talked about a version without NGUI and Playmaker. I would suggest, the integration of playmaker makes sense because of the really universal usage of this asset. And it is not too expensive. ;) But NGUI... do you use it as an replacement for the Unity UI? I thought the new Unity UI features were better than last...

    But what I want to know: Are there any plans to record some video tutorials that shows several "how to's"? This would be great.

    Ideas / questions:
    - Can the player specify his name?
    - Is there a way to connect to a MySQL server to upload the highscore (including the game name)?

    P.S. The WEB-DEMO doesn't work!

    How do i enable the fog, for the Bend Shader? Can you let me know, please? Just enabling it from the Lighting tab does not do anything.

    Unfortunately the project does not support fog and shadow. At the moment we working on this. But you can found some other fog solutions in the asset store.

    Thank you for interesting our product. Fist of all our project is not likely other runner templates on the market. Because our project is finished in every way. The code,loading scene,game scenes, levels,characters,achievements,power-ups everything is in the game has completed.So this is not a learning tool. You can quickly modify some game contents and create high quality completely different and playable runner game.

    We still working on unity gui version of the game, but uniy gui is very hard to integrate to our project, so stay tuned.

    We are created a detailed installation and modification guide, you can found everything in these documentation. Maybe we create some tutorial videos in the future why not :)

    Currently player can`t change his name but not impossible thing.
    We use google play, apple game center services for high scoring.

    IOS IL2CPP BUILD ISSUE

    We got some emails from users about ios build.
    They said that when they build the game with il2cpp mode the only thing that in the device screen is empty "High Score" panel. And when we checked the issue we saw the same thing is happen.

    This is a small bug, not a complicated issue :) we don`t know why but in il2cpp mode our HighScore panel hiding action in play maker wont work. So we fix the bug and project is working fine now. In a couple of days it will be updated.


    If you are have the same problem here our quick solution to fix it (Hiding HighScorePanel with code)

    1 - Add public highScorePanel game object to GlobalVariables.cs
    2 - add highScorePanel.SetActive(false) command in Awake method
    3 - Drag and drop HighScoreMenu game object to its place. It is in the GlobalVariables script where attached in "PlayMaker" game object.
    4 - Rebuild the project

    It looks awesome! One question also comparing it to "Infinite Runner Starter Pack Pro".

    How does your template manage the tracks? I mean... each section of the track/road is created manually? (like in "3D Infinite Runner Toolkit"). So I need to create 10, 20, 50 different track/road sections with obstacles and everything. (best for game design but probably repetitive)

    Or like in "Infinite Runner Starter Pack Pro" I create the road and obstacles and then everything is generated at runtime and randomly? So every time every section is different. (maybe some parts looks weird but not repetitive at all)

    Hi IvyKun,

    In our template you design all the track parts separately. You just place the game element holders like obstacles coins power-ups that already existed in the project. When game is running engine automatically replace this holders to original prefabs.


    Smart Track Generation

    We grouped tracks at 3 different speed level, each speed level has its own tracks to run.Groups are progressive but every track in the group are generated randomly in every run. So as a result we get smooth unique and reasonable non repetitive transitions between different tracks and track groups. And most of popular runner games using this technique.

    Here our diagram that for track generation



    Group 1 : Easy Tracks
    Group 2 : Medium Track
    Group 2 : Hard Tracks

    You can change this difficulty levels as you wanted to be.

    Some hints for you:
    Especially with regard to PlayMaker, let me mention that this tool is extremely universally applicable. The purchase you will certainly not regret. NGui is not bad so far but expensive. So Trisoft is working on a replacement for this.

    I guess the point is, that many developers use their prefered system (so many assets on the store).

    Hi Dev,
    When would you think you would be able to add jetpack, hoverboard powerups?
    the most important thing is score multiplier feature like on subway surfer increases score multiplier each time you complete a mission (achievement).
    If you implemented those features you gonna see me buying it :)
    keep up the great game anyways!

    That PlayMaker and NGUI's used, should told you the asset description. Why are you so surprised?

    Two hints for you:
    # Trisoft is currently working on a NGUI replacement. You are not the only one who wants to use another GUI system. ;)
    # PlayMaker is really helpful in any way. You should give it a chance. It's not too expensive with regard to it's features.

    NGUI and Playmaker are assets sold by other providers in the asset store. They are not free to use and if distributed freely is illegal. To my knowledge there is no such thing as ngui and Playmaker free beta versions.
