As the title suggests, I have found that all my UI elements in the scene are not showing.
    Here is a screenshot:

As you can see, there are very visible UI elements. However, the camera is only rendering the reticle and the skybox in the background, even with Distortion correction off. I am currently on Unity Daydream Technical Preview 5.4.2f2-GVR9, the one that was released last night. I also have the latest Google VR SDK, version 1.0.1. In all previous Technical previews, I did not have this issue, so I have no idea just why this Technical preview is refusing to show the UI...

There's this error. No idea if it means anything or not because I've also seen it on the previous builds, but yeah.

I'm guessing this was introduced between Unity 5.4.1 and 5.4.2. I don't yet see a bug for it. Is there any way you can submit a bug / provide a repro project? If you do, please post the issue id or PM it to me and I'll get it in front of the UI team.

BTW the log messages you are seeing are not related to this issue.

I'm guessing that it's a bug with Unity 5.4.2. Despite Unity explicitly stating that there's no way to downgrade the project's Unity version, I somehow managed to downgrade that project back onto the Unity 5.4.1f1-GVR8 build. The UI works perfectly fine on Unity 5.4.1f1-GVR8.
The only thing that's really holding me back from submitting a bug report or providing a repo project is the immense size of the project. It's currently at roughly 13GB, and considering that I have limited internet, it might be a bit difficult to upload all that data...

Can you just limit a repro project to only that scene and what it requires to display the UI bits?

I could, but it'll take me some time to do so... I'll try
