Bug Ubuntu Unity Editor Does Not Open

I am using the newest version of ubuntu btw

Every time I try to open a unity project, I tried the 2022.2.20f1, it would give me this error message: "...The saved project (before 5.0) does not match the current editor (2022.2.20f1)..." The thing is, this is a NEW unity project. Created using the 2022 editor. But it does not recognize 2022 as it's editor. I have not the slightest clue what is going on. Please try to respond sooner rather than later
