    How to reproduce:
    • add a script to a game object,
    • in the inspector, click on its name in the script field, here "Test".
    Capture d’écran_2020-11-08_12-57-31.png
Doing this should select the original script in the project view; it doesn't. It works only if the instpector is sel to "Debug" instead of "Normal"; it doesn't seem to be the proper behaviour.

The bug reporter doesn't work as I already mentioned in another of my bug threads: https://forum.unity.com/threads/ubuntu-based-linux-unity-2021-1-0a4-doesnt-start-maximized.1000501/

It doesn't on Windows either, it's disabled as well - you have to switch to Debug view, then it will, i.e. the 3 dots in the top right of the Inspector window, then select Debug instead of Normal.

I agree it should also work in Normal view.

Thanks for the info. It's a bug anyway then, it should work in normal view. :)

Changing the title of the thread and the first post.
