Bug Typed-in text is doubled in Play mode in a UI element

    When I type text into the editor, say the Hierarchy search, text appears as you would expect.
    But when I type text into a UI element in Play mode, all characters are duplicated.
    e.g. I type abcdefg, the field shows aabbccddeeffgg

    See the attached screenshot; the UI element is at the very bottom.

    Very happy to see the editor in Linux. Thank you.
