Can I use any type of Apple computer to produce iOS code? (MacBook Air, MacBookPro, Mac Mini, iMac).

As long as it is new enough to support the later versions of Xcode.

I have seen several used and relatively old Apple computer´s that are in good condition. They are sold with Mac OS X 10.9 (Mavericks). Are these computers a good choice? I will be using it only for getting the code to publish iOS games.

Yes. Any Mac that can run upcoming Yosemite is good enough for iOS compiling for years to come.

That said, a slow machine is going to slow development time considerably. I develop on an i7 PC for Android principally and deployment is very fast when you click build+run. On iOS, it's way slower, having to create the XCode project and then build. Things are faster with Unity 4.5, admittedly, but you really feel the burn when twiddling thumbs waiting for something to happen. That's on a 3 year old second hand dual-core i5 Mac Mini. Originally I was looking at saving a couple of hundred quid and going for the bare minimum like a Core-2-Duo based Mini, but I'm pleased I didn't now. I'd like to replace the HDD with an SSD too, because going back to HDD from my SSD-based PC is soooo slow (actually maybe that's the limiting factor on the Mini?).

Will an Apple Macbook Core 2 Duo 2.26Ghz 2GB 250GB make it? I just cannot spend much, however I will appreciate real comments.
