Two TMPro folders: One in Packages, one in Assets

Is it normal to have TextMesh Pro in both Packages, and in Assets? Here's my project:

I tried deleting the TextMesh Pro stuff under Assets, thinking it was old stuff that was no longer needed, but then I was prompted to import things again the next time I clicked on a TMPro object. Just checking whether this is how it should look, or if I have something configured redundantly.

The "Packages/TextMesh Pro" folder contain the package itself whereas the "TextMesh Pro" folder in the project itself the TMP Essential Resources as well as the TMP Examples & Extras (when optionally imported by the user).

There is no redundancy between these two.
