two timeline editor windows open at the same time?

    How can i open two timeline editors at the same time?
    i do this all the time with multiple Game windows, Inspectors etc. selecting from the panel drop down menu
    is there a non obvious way to do this with the timeline window?

    No, unfortunately there is no reliable way to do that.
