tvOS support

    Hi folks,

    Is there any word on a schedule for tvOS support for analytics and IAP? I checked the roadmap but couldn't find any details.

    Hi @Wriggler

    We plan to support both Analytics in tvOS as of Unity 5.4. IAP is also scheduled for 5.4, but testing has yet to be done to confirm (so no promises quite yet).

    The tvOS Build Support module for Unity 5.3.2p3 on Mac is giving an MD5 verification error when trying to install with the download assistant. Is there somewhere to download this module directly?

    Unity IAP supports tvOS. Just ensure you are on the latest version by clicking 'import' in the IAP cloud service window.

    Unity Analytics supports tvOS in 5.4 (tested in 5.4.0b16)!

    If I try to make a new segment for tvOS users, I don't see tvOS available on platform list, does that mean that Unity Analytics still doesn't support tvOS? I'm using Unity 5.4.0p1 and have my tvOS app running.

    Hi @Simon_says,

    We do support analytics events sent from tvOS and they will show up in All Current Users metrics, but we don't currently support creating a segment for that OS. We are working towards that feature, but I don't have any information regarding when that will be available.

    Also note that if you create a custom segment that captures "All other platforms", tvOS users will not show up in that segment because of the work in progress for adding that OS as a segment option.
