Turret Defense is a 3D turret/tower defense game starter kit. Package includes four turrets (gun turret, machine gun turret, laser turret and rocket turret).

Nice starter kit. I have some questions:

    1) Will it be available in the Unity asset store?!
    2) Does it work smoothly for 2D view? Is it just switch to perspective view (and change the camera position) or should I do more than this?!
    4) Does it have any "Spawn manager" to set up each wave?
    3) Any update planned or this is it?

I love your work, I bought several starter kits from you =)
    cheers

    Thanks...

    1) Asset store - NO, I'm planing to put some of my future projects on asset store
    2) View setup in web demo is not changeable
    3) There is a spawn point but not for each wave
    4) Yes

If you need some other features please contact me.

Do you know if it runs ok on mobile devices?! Any plans related to it?!

About the spawn point, maybe a nice feature (if you intend to upgrade the starter kit) would be a "Wave manager" with a little editor where we can configure options related to the wave. Something like:
    Wave number: 3
    Enemies: {array of enemies...number of each kind that will be spawned...}
Time interval between waves: 10 sec
Time interval between enemy units: 0.2 sec
    etc

Well It is just a suggestion, because I loved your starter kit. Also, I am planning to buy a tower defense starter kit soon and I am thinking what would be the best choice for me because there is another kit out there (http://www.gameprefabs.com/products/show/320).
    thx

The license is so complex, so if I use the code to produce a standalone product, like an iOS app, which license should I buy?

I'll see that future update contains wave manager and some helper objects.

I totally agree. Could you answer for us? To produce an ios game (as an indie dev), should we buy the regular or extended?!

Regular - a website (commercial, personal, client), free game, e-card, or presentation

Extended - an app, paid game, or other software project, a website template for sale

you definitely need to rework the licensing mentions there, they are not only "troublesome" but basically wouldn't hold in law enforcing at all.

The licensing are contradicting cause the regular allows commercial games too, its first part is "commercial website" and you can embed unity in such a website as per this license (kongregate or any web game platform)

Same goes for free game: great, make it a free download for mobile and fund it with IAP or ad, thats allowed by the license as well.

How does the turret placing work? Does the kit have it built in so we can use Unity terrain as well as other meshs to place turrets on?

Erm... is this going to be in the Asset Store??

Because I am very interested. But I don't want to purchase from non-Unity asset store site, since its more troublesome to update and remember where it is from.
