Trying to use the new Input System but having issues updating.

1: Why does my package manager only see Input System version 1.0.2 despite the documentation (and these forums) stating that the latest version is 1.3.0? Am I not supposed to update it through the built-in package manager?

2: Why is "Background Behavior" missing from my Input System Package settings?


I am using Unity 2021.1.25f1 which, as far as the documentation seems to state, is a supported version of Unity for updating to 1.3. Proof:

 

Can I get any support on this? I need to get unfocused-app hotkeys working soon and the only way I know of doing it is through the new Input System's "Background Behavior" mechanics, unless someone has an alternate way of accomplishing this task?

 

I ended up discovering the git url and was able to install that way. For anyone else who comes across this:
