Trying to create a object blur

    Hi guys, so Im trying to create an object blur like that in Voxel rush (see the pic I posted), and just wondered if anyone knew a way to do this in unity free?

    Gotta give it more then a half hour there for people to respond.. In the mean time try Google your question and see if anything comes from it.

    Wow its only been half an hour? Sorry I thought it was longer
    As for googling, truth be told I didnt know what to google. I dont know what this is called, I tried object blur but this didnt come up

    What you want is called motion blur. It is achieved by rendering the scene multiple times with slight adjustments to the camera position (or additional cameras). It typically involves RenderTextures so you may need to do some additional work yourself in Unity Free (such as alternative materials that cause the objects in the scene to be semi-transparent).

    Oh its motion blur? Huh, I didnt think it was that, but nevertheless, thanks for the advice mate!

    Well it may not be exactly motion blur, but the effect is basically about the same.

    From that static screen it looks like just each of those blocks is overlayed with a little bigger transparent block. Add fog and a bit of vertex distortion and you should be fine to go ;-)
