Trojan (Win32/Caynamer.A!ml) in Unity 2021.2.7f1 install?

    I'm installing 2021.2.7f1 and Windows Defender picked this up during the install. Is this something bad on my PC or the Unity install?



    Any advice/information appreciated. Thanks!

    Exact same thing happened to me after installing 2021.2.7f1 this morning. Is this a false positive or should we fire up the klaxons?

    Report to Unity directly regardless. Not just forum.
    Also, try different version of Unit.

    Consider uploading that particular file to VirusTotal and see if other scanners say something:
    Chances are high that this is likely a false positive. Still worth reporting to Unity, though.
