Transferring an organization

    Hi,

    I have a question about general Unity Core Services, but there does not seem to be a dedicated forum for that so I post here, as I hope the people reading this are best familiar with the topic:

    I created an organization a while back and want to permanently transfer ownership to another person.

    When I try to set myself as only "Manager", I get the following error:

    "Admins who are responsible for subscription payments cannot be moved to a different role"

    I don't have any susscription nor payments or plan to have any.

    Tab "Subscriptions" does not show anything:

    "There are no subscriptions for this organization"


    I checked under Payment methods and it confirms no payment information either:

    Payment Method(s)
    There are no payment methods for this organization


    Anyone knows how to fix this? The organization in question is "Bananaa".

    Organizations have to have at least one admin at all times. Try adding the other user to your organization and make them an admin first, then change your role to "manager" after.

    Yes, the one I wish to transfer the organization to is the (only) other member of the organization and has "Admin" status.

    But I can't remove myself or change my role. Nor can he remove me.

    After talking with the core team, transferring ownership of an organization is currently unsupported - it will be supported in the near future, but as of this moment it will not work. However, this is something we can take care of for you manually. I will start a private conversation with you to work out the details.

    Hi,
    It seems that the problem still appears and I'm in the same situation as Immanuel-Scholz.
    The previous owner gave the owner status, we're now two owners, but I can't remove him. It says "Member is an admin responsible for subscription payments and therefore cannot be removed from this organization" but I don't have any payments or subscriptions.
    Is it possible to take care of it manually? Feel free to start a private conversation to work out the details.
