Hello, Dear Forum and Unity Professionals,

To business, is there any way to get at least some information about an individual user without "a strong headache"?

I found this quite old thread [1] (see footer) where a Unity Teammate tells about the upcoming (at that moment) feature Raw Data Export (is available at the moment) but no other information. So, yes, as I understood, it's true -- we are able to gather all the data using Raw Data Export and then filter it with some custom logic, but of course it's a quite long process: fetching of all of the available data including custom events for a certain period of time, building a logic of separation of the events based on UserID, etc.

So, one more time, is there any "simple" way to get the information about an individual user?

Thank you very much for your time, answers, bits of advice and thoughts!

    Best wishes,
    Ivan.

P.S. I apologize for any grammatical mistakes -- English is not my native language. :)

    Hi @JohnOknelorfDev,

I guess I'd have to say there's no simple way, given your definition. Which is to say that the dashboard has no tool for viewing an individual user's data. The dashboard is built mostly around the principles of aggregation and segmentation. Aggregation joins lots of users/user behaviors together. Segmentation breaks users/user behaviors apart. This allows you to see large patterns (for example, how many users play every day) and smaller patterns (how many Android users from Japan play every day). But nothing in that reduces to the level of the individual user.

This means that Raw Data is pretty much the only sensible route for the kind of analysis you're describing.

    Hi @marc_tanenbaum,

Thank you very much for your detailed reply. I appreciate it a lot. The provided possibilities of Unity Analytics are really impressive, but I guess my team will need that kind of "specific" tracking of an individual user progress. Therefore, the only way is to build a custom analytics analyzer using Raw Data.

Anyway, thank you very much one more time!
