Touchscreen Keyboard Text Preview + showing status bar bug

hi there,
i think i have a bug, if i create a text field or open the touchscreen keyboard, while having the app show the status bar, the text preview box goes away. it almost looks like it positions itself on top of the status bar. then, it gets really weird because the auto correct displays itself in the upper left corner instead of near the keyboard.

any work arounds for this? id like both features
