    Project Mortal Damnation:
This is a "top-down sci-fi sandbox survival rpg game!" (Say that 10 times fast)
Inspiration comes from many games that I have adored in the past few years.. Such as Terraria, Starbound, Rimworld, Project Zomboid, and many more.

Below is a list of photos and videos in no specific order that have been captures throughout development.
(Many posted in replies, Top post updated regularly to keep it easily view-able for you!)

movement is smooth. that's about all I can comment on.
I think you've hit the right spot on the nighttime darkness as well. Just enough to not see as much as you'd like to.

    Thanks for checking it out!

    Here's another update guys:

Each gun is a test version of different guns. Handgun, Uzi, Etc.
I am currently working on the inventory and UI so at the moment pickup weapons up auto equips them.

Update: Hit detection for melee and aimed weapons is done. The red is testing/debug info, Anything from the player to the red is where the hit detection occurs. o_O

Hey guys, Here's an update! I am currently adding space to this.. So you can build a ship, take off.. and explore the galaxy, fight aliens, populate planets and whatnot. So far.. I have physics good, ships "base" can be selected then the player can attach thrusters and assign each thruster to fire when a specific button is hit.. :) It's lots of fun. Heres what I got so far:

Towards the end I remove a back thruster and you can see that the ship spins as visualization that the ship moves based on thruster location :p.

Wood work bench for carpentry stuff and stone furnace for smelting. Plus hot bar, and new terrain generator (TerrainToolKit for now).. Along with npcs generated for fun now. All clothes of NPCs (and new player) are randomly generated to create a variety of characters. Next.. Crafting.. Then NPC functionality.. (Personalities, join group, etc.)

    :)

Finished tieing together unarmed combat (+ sorted melee combat when weapon models are ready).

    New:
Sound effects work when they should
    Damage
    Health Bar
Pool - Health bar, gfx, etc belong to a pool and are now moved around the scene as they should be instead of instantiations.

    I like the progress shown.
The punch animation is very smooth and the transitions are very well done.
But the upper body animation during the punch is comical. No disrespect intended.
It looks nearly intentionally funny like it was on purpose to make the end of the arms extend the same distance or something.
I know your still working on core elements so may just want to note on the animation to increase the full body movement (from knees up) so the punch looks more fluid. Unless it was done intentional, if so you hit it perfect.

haha alright thanks! I appreciate the feedback. Yeah not intentional, just threw the animations together for testing purposes and needed the arms to extend far for impact visuals which I should of done with bending the spine.. But i'm a motivated coder but a lazy artist :p

Hey guys! I don't have any media to post but I did wanna write an update, I recently finished tile system that cteates chunks if meshes and will be as infinite terrain in game. This will allow for worlds to be unlimited size even though the size will be limited on world variables. But still... I'm excited to have finally finished the code. (More like 95% complete)

PS: I'm at doctors appointment writing this from phone so don't kill me about grammar :)

Finally wrote some classes to handle equipping clothes to the player and handling the "Clipping" of the skin through the clothes. Not sure how the end result will fair when being used in game.. But the visual outcome is damn pretty :)

(Animations currently be used and no mesh clipping when deforming.)
